A property caretaker/home watch service specializes in regularly scheduled inspections of both the exterior and interior of one of your most valued possessions, your home.  While Away inspects your home for mechanical breakdowns/failures, storm damage, vandalism, and the unexpected mishaps that may occur.

This business is operated by a husband and wife team.  Mike is the one that will be doing the inspections, but you must know that every great man has an even greater wife close by.

This is a great question and it really comes down to your personal desires and preferences.  We all know that the unexpected can happen at any time.

Our normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. That being said our phone is always on and we respond to emergencies at any time outside of normal work hours.  Additional charges may apply in these situations.

Yes, we are insured and would be happy to provide that information upon request.

We will provide thorough documentation of all visits to your property so you will be fully informed regarding our inspections and any concerns that may arise. 

Prompt payment is expected upon receipt of invoice. We accept payment by check, credit card, cash or with PayPal.

We service a 15 mile radius around Sioux Falls at our standard rate. We are happy to go beyond 15 miles although we would charge an additional hourly rate for travel.
